The work for which proposals are invited consists of the demolition and removal of a 140' tall, 100,000 gallon water tower, the support structure and ancillary piping. The area is to be fully restored to the match the surrounding area. The Village of North Hampton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive any informalities in the bidding, and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom in their consideration offered the lowest and best proposal. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Clark County as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, 614-644-2239. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the Proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on the projects of similarsize and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractorsto be used. The Owner intends and requires that the project be completed no later than December 31, 2025. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
