for furnishing all equipment, labor, materials and appurtenances required to abrasive blast and lead containment of existing exterior paint system, repaint exterior, abrasive blast and repaint interior tank and riser of 50,000-gallon legged storage facility, replace leg ladder, balcony modifications, seal weld roof to shell transition, remove hub and rods from interior wet area, install safety climb system, install access flange and vent, and other such work as may be incidental to ELEVATED WATER STORAGE FACILITY IMPROVEMENTS. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids; and to waive irregularities or informalities to accept the BID it deems most beneficial. Bids received after the specified time of closing will be returned unopened. Each BIDDER will be required to submit with his proposal, a certified check, cashiers check or bid bond made payable, without condition, to the Village Clerk, Milligan, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. Question Deadline 08/14/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
