The 96th Ave, 100th Ave, 180th St, and 183rd St Utility Improvements Project proposes to construct water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater improvements in south and central areas of the City of Bothell. The general aspects of this work will involve water main, sanitary sewer main, and storm drain improvements; temporary traffic control; storm and sewer bypass operations; surface restoration; etc. The total estimated cost for this Project is in the range of $4,300,000 to $4,800,000. The City of Bothell, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Financing of the Project has been provided by Washington State Department of Commerce Public Works Board and City of Bothell. The City of Bothell reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to further make award of the Project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it best serves the interest of the City. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Contract Provisions. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, money order or bid bond payable to the City of Bothell and in the amount of not less than 5% of the total bid amount. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
