District Wide Security and Surveillance Initiative - Scope includes District Wide Security Camera Upgrades at all schools to include all head end equipment, camera layout, access controls and wiring. All questions concerning this proposal should be submitted through the Online Program. All questions and answers will be posted on the Online. Bidders are required to submit a surety in the form of a bond or equivalent meeting 10% of the overall bid price in compliance with the contract documents. Bid bonds will be returned to the non-awarded bidders upon the execution of the contract. The successful Bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of receipt of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. There is no physical public bid opening for this project, bids will be revealed via the Online website. The Successful Bidder Who Is Awarded The Contract, Will Be Required To Pay Online A Fee Of 0.0033% (1/3 of 1 percent) up to $5,000 Of The Contract Award Value. All interested parties must submit questions via Online. Bidders are not permitted to contact the District Engineer or staff directly. Chester Upland School District reserves the right to reject any and all RFP's and the right to waive any technicalities which it deems are in the best interest of the District and to consider the competency and responsibility of the bidder before the award of the contract and to award the bid accordingly. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Contract Documents contain all pertinent regulations. The Chester Upland School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any portion of any bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Chester Upland School District.
