Renovation of a multi-residential development in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

New kitchen and bathroom GFI receptacles, electrical load centers, extending wiring and conduit and related work at Westlawn Family Housing Development. The work is estimated to cost $770,000.00. A. The Work of the Contract consists of, but is not limited to: 1. Electrical Contractor shall be the General Contractor. The Electrical Contractor shall be DCAMM Certified in Electrical work. 2. Replace all existing load centers in all apartments/units with new load centers. All new load centers will be located at the same apartment/unit as noted on the drawings. 3.all branch circuit wiring for future splice connection as shown on the drawing. 4. Make existing load center as splice box. Reconnect respective new wiring to existing wiring as shown on the drawings. 5. Furnish and install new receptacles at kitchen area, washing machine room, bathroom and as shown on the drawings. 6. Extend new branch circuit wiring to all new receptacles as shown on the drawings. 7. All new 15A-1P and 20A-1P circuit breakers shall be combination GFCI / arc fault circuit breakers as indicated on the panel schedule. 8. Label all receptacles at all apartments/units throughout the site. 9. Grounding and bonding of all electrical systems and equipment. Grounding and bonding work shall be strictly as per latest edition of National Electric Code (NEC) and Massachusetts Electric Code. 10. Testing of all electrical systems. 11. Core drilling. 12. Selective demolition as shown on the drawings. 13. Work shall be performed in different phases. This includes shutdowns. Completion- 180 consecutive calendar days All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 07/25/2025 at 11:00AM EDT for general bids.
