Performance and Payment Bonds Shall Be Issued in An amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract amount by a Solvent Corporate Surety Company Authorized to Do Business in the State of Texas and Shall Meet Any Other requirements Established by Law or by Owner Pursuant To applicable Law. Minimum Insurance Requirements Are Specified in Article 6,standard General Conditions. Contract Time is of the Essence and All Work Shall Be substantially Complete Within 180 Calendar Days for Silverleaf Wastewater Treatment Plant After Date Specified In article 4.01 of the Agreement, in Accordance With the "bid form". Final Completions Shall Be Achieved Within 30 Calendar Days After Substantial Completion. Liquidated Damages for Delay, but Not as a Penalty, as Provided in the Agreement, Are Seven Hundred and Fifty and No/hundredths dollars ($750) Per Calendar Day for Failure to Substantially complete the Work and Seven Hundred and Fifty and No/hundredths Dollars ($750) Per Calendar Day for Failure to Achieve Final Completion Within 30 Calendar Days After substantial Completion, in Accordance With the "bid Form". owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and Towaive Any Minor Informality in Any Bid or Solicitation Procedure (a Minor Informality is One That Does Not Affect the Competitiveness of the Bid).
