Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in West Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Project primarily consists of resurfacing existing hot-mix asphalt (HMA) roadways. Work includes, but is not limited to, one and one-half inch (1.5") to six inch (6") HMA pavement removal, pavement patching as needed, placement of HMA binder course (4"), resurfacing with two (2) inch hot-mix asphalt surface course, pavement markings removal and installation, aggregate shoulder or aggregate wedge shoulder installation, traffic control and protection, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the Project as described herein and in strict compliance with the Bid Documents. Work also includes, as an Alternate Bid Item, installation of approximately 324 lineal feet of five foot (5') wide PCC sidewalk along Purnell Road. The Project is to be substantially completed by October 31, 2025. Q&A 07/29/2025 as per ADDA 1. Questions regarding the Project should be directed to Robert E.
