Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lower Township, New Jersey. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Shunpike Road is an urban minor collector that services subdivisions and residential dwellings. In addition, it provides access to the Middle Township School recreation field and play area. The roadway provides acccess to several seasonal campgrounds in the area which are critical to the Township's tourist industry. Shunpike road Parallels the county bike path network, and provides for easy vehicle access to the bike path at multiple locations along its length. The southern end of Shunpike services the CMCMUA transfer station and a new natural gas servicing station. The roadway has some accident history near the Oyster Road intersection. The project will include milling and paving, draiange improvements to correct exisitng spread onto the roadway during rain events, widening to provide for a consistent cross section of (2) 11' wide lanes and (2) 7' wide shoulders for enhanced bicycle and pedestrian safety, centerline rumble stripes south of Shellbay Avenue and ADA imrovements. Additional safety measures such as lane text and double warning signage will be included inthe project.
