As of October 29, 2025, a design build firm has been selected and this project is in the pre-construction/negotiated status. Schematic design is just getting started. A firm timeline for sub-bidding has not been determined. It is anticipated construction will start in February 2026 and end in April 2026. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The proposed Design-Build Project is the renovations of the Municipal Courtrooms in Findlay City Hall. The courtrooms were first constructed in 1984. Renovations include but are not limited to: judges bench area including security, jury box, judicial assistant, flooring, ceiling including acoustical tiles, casework throughout, gallery area, ADA accessibility issues and refinishing of doors and gallery pews. Architectural renderings of all work shall be included for approval prior to construction. There are two courtrooms requiring identical services; however, one courtroom shall remain functional at all times. Any CITY changes to this RFQ will be made by written addendum. No verbal modification shall be binding. All RFQ questions from CONTRACTORs must be received by 2:00 p.m. local time on July 22, 2025 in order to be provided a response from the CITY by July 24, 2025. All inquiries regarding the RFQ must be made in writing to lrausch@findlayohio.gov or engineering@findlayohio.gov.
