Site Address: Walnut drive, Center Street, Highview City: Eureka County: Woodford State/Province: IL Site Directions: Along Walnut Drive Water main construction along Walnut Street to replace an abandoned 4-inch water main under Center St with 8-inch diameter PVC water main directionally drilled beneath Center St. (approximately 132 lineal feet) and 8-inch diameter PVC water main direct buried across Walnut Drive (approximately 52 lineal feet). Also, the installation of fire hydrant at dead-end of 4-inch water main on Highview & Brookline Dr to allow for flushing of the system. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the City of Eureka as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City of Eureka as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
