Replies will be issued to all bidders of record in the form of an Addendum. All bids must be accompanied with bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or a cashier's check made payable to Congerville-Eureka-Goodfield Community Unit School District #140 in the amount of five per cent (5%) of the bid amount. The bidder shall, within said ten (10) days, provide a Payment and Performance Bond, with a Surety to be approved by the district, in the amount of 100% of the cost of the contract, the cost of which shall be included in the bid. The form of the Payment and Per formance Bond is subject to ap-proval of counsel for the district. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informalities, errors of irregulari ty in bids received or in the bid-ding process, and to accept the bid that the Board of Education deems the most favorable to its interest after all bids have been examined and canvassed. The Board of Education will award the contract to the lowest re-sponsible bidder that meets the criteria as established in the specifications and the contract will be awarded only after a for-mal notice is given to the suc-cessful bidder pursuant to action by the Board of Education.
