Blue Ridge Community College is seeking proposals for a turnkey project to: Provide & install supplemental heating and cooling for the Killian building Student Center and offices. - Work to include all electrical and ceiling modifications. - Work to include all permits and inspections. Location- 180 West Campus Dr. Flat Rock, NC 28731 Submit Written Questions Vendor August 8th by 4:00 PM - Provide Response to Questions State August 12th by 5:00 PM Written questions must be submitted by the deadline for Vendor questions. Written questions should reference the project name "Killian HVAC" and be emailed to: Sharon Howell Sb_howell@blueridge.edu All work, including chosen Alternates, must be complete by December 31st, 2025. Provide permit and inspection fee for scope of work. Provide and install Mitsubishi MXZ-SM60NL (or similar) 5- ton heat pump condenser. Provide and install (2) Mitsubishi PLFY-EL24 (or similar), 2-ton ceiling cassettes units (3'x3' square dimension). Provide and install (2) Mitsubishi PKEY-L06 (or similar) 6k btu high wall head unit. Install branch headers and city multi connectors. Install control wiring and condensate drain piping (2 condensate pumps on interior highwall units). Install and pressure test new lineset, evacuate and charge refrigerant system. Install lineset covering on exterior walls and interior wall at high wall head unit Start up and test for proper operation. Electrical: o Provide and install 80 amp circuit to existing panel, provide new breaker and 100 amp disconnect and service receptacle. Ceiling Tile Modifications: o Provide suspended ceiling contractor to make any and all ceiling modifications needed. Roof Penetrations: This is a brand new TPO liner that was just installed in March 2025. Alternate #1: Integrate with existing Metasys BAS system BRCC does not want any roof penetrations. If roof penetrations are required, this must be approved ahead of time by BRCC's Capital Project Coordinator.
