Site work and new construction of a parking garage in Flat Rock, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 10,000-square-foot parking garage; and for site work for a parking garage.

Henderson County is accepting qualifications for a Construction Manager at Risk, for the Henderson County Schools Bus Garage Project. The overall project scope will include the new construction of an approximate 10,000 sq ft Bus Garage. All necessary components including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, detention equipment, electronic security, AV equipment, data, courtroom technology, interior, and exterior finishes, envelope/enclosure, and parking, associated with a yet to be finalized design criteria and scope, are to be included in the project scope. A part of the CMR's scope will be the necessary programming with Henderson County, in order to provide cost estimates and schedules for project approval. Additionally, the CMR's services will be to provide the necessary Pre-Construction and Bid Administration for the bidding process and awarding of the trades, to ensure project success. Although the exact cost for this project is yet to be determined, the estimated construction cost is 10 million dollars. All proposals must demonstrate compliance with all aspects of North Carolina law and Henderson County policy, including e-verification, terms and conditions and other requirements. As a general guide to prospective proposers, the Construction Manager-at-Risk Selection Procedures adopted by the North Carolina State Building Commission, appropriately modified for use by Henderson County, will be employed in this process. King St., Project Management, Hendersonville, NC, 28792, or at brhodes@hendersoncountync.gov Henderson County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive technicalities and to be the sole judge of the suitability of the goods and services, for its intended use as allowed by law and further specifically reserves the right to make the award in the best interest of the County. The owner may or may not interview potential candidates to assist in the selection process. The overall project scope will include the new construction of a pre-manufactured metal building, along with all necessary installation of all building systems components, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, electronic security, AV equipment, data, interior, and exterior finishes, envelope/enclosure, and parking, associated with a yet to be finalized design criteria and scope, are to be included in the project scope. A part of the CMR's scope will be the necessary programming with Henderson County and Henderson County Public Schools, in order to provide cost estimates and schedules for project approval. Additionally, the CMR's services will be to provide the necessary PreConstruction and Bid Administration for the bidding process and awarding of the trades, to ensure project success.
