On-Call Engineering Services Purpose The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals from qualified engineering firm(s) one or more contracts for each of the Groups of professional engineering services identified below. Contractual services shall be performed on an "as needed basis" for a broad range of projects. The City will award no more than two (2) contracts per group. Offerors interested in providing services in more than one (1) group shall submit a separate proposal for each Group. The Group number and titles shall be shown on the cover of each proposal. The City of Petersburg intends to obtain professional engineering services for the following Service Groups: Group 1 - Basic Engineering Services generally consisting of, but not limited to: a) Civil Engineering b) Storm Water Infrastructure Engineering Services c) Geographic Information Services (GIS) / Asset Management d) Environmental Engineering Services e) Landscape Planning and Landscape Architecture Services f) Surveying Services g) Geotechnical Engineering Services Group 2 - Bridge and Structural Engineering Group 3 - Water and Wastewater Engineering Services Group 4 - Site Plan Review Engineering Services Group 5 - Traffic and Transportation Engineering Services Group 6 - Construction/Project Management Period of Contract The initial term or period of the contract shall be for a one (1) year period with the effective date to be determined at the time of award with the option to renew four (4) one-year periods. The contract shall Commence on the Commencement Date set forth in the contract for On-Call Engineering Services and shall expire one (1) year later, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the provisions of this Contract.
