The contract shall commence on the Commencement Date set forth in the contract to provide on-call tree maintenance services and expire three (3) years later, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the provision of this Contract. The City reserves the right to extend the Contract for any reason for a period or periods up to but not to exceed 12 months. This extension may be exercised when the City determines that an extension of the Contract is advantageous to the City. The City, at its sole option may renew this Contract for up to two (2) one-year renewal term by furnishing the Contractor with written notice of its decision to renew at least 60 calendar days before the expiration of the then-current term.
