Renovation and addition to a military facility in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility; and for the addition of a military facility.

Provide design build for room 3E18 in building 3281. The scope will renovate architectural, mechanical, and electrical systems within the envelope of this room. This project's intent is to convert this room into a functional open storage area meeting the current applicable criteria and guidelines including but not limited Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS). This room needs the following improvements to meet conditions for open storage. (2) Doors will have to be replaced. (1) Doorway will have to be infilled. (1) Wall will have to be hardened. (3) Windows will have to be blacked out. (1) New cell phone locker will be installed in the hallway. Project will also require new electronic security system (ESS) in Room 3E18 that consists of an access control system (ACS) and an intrusion detection system (IDS) with backup emergency. Access Control System (ACS) will have (2) card readers and (2) keypads to be installed next to the doors in the hallway and Intrusion Detection System (IDS) will include keypad with arm/disarm capabilities, motion detectors, mag switches, and alarm sensors. Electrical task also includes electrical power and control wiring connections and associated components, devices, and appurtenances as necessary and required for a complete and usable system.
