Fifth Third Bank Make Ready Utility Improvements The proposed improvement is officially known as the Village of Morton Grove Fifth Third Bank Make-Ready Utility Improvements. This project will be financed by Village of Morton Grove funds. The Work included in this Contract shall consist of furnishing all the materials, labor, equipment and incidentals required install approximately 36 feet of 10-inch storm sewer service pipe; connect storm sewer pipe to combination sewer; disconnect 1-1/2-inch diameter water service from water main; pressure connection and 5-foot diameter valve vault to existing 12-inch water main; install approximately 54 feet of 6-inch diameter water main pipe; install approximately 21 feet of 12-inch diameter casing pipe; trench backfill; construct approximately 37 square yards 10-inch thick concrete pavement patch, construct approximately 5 tons of hot-mix asphalt surface replacement; remove and replace approximately 10 feet of curb and gutter; remove and replace approximately 350 square feet of sidewalk on Illinois Department of Transportation right-of-way, and all other incidental work necessary to complete this improvement according to the Contract Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in a minimum amount of 5% of the bid amount as provided in the General Provisions and, where applicable, in BLRS Recurring Special Provision for "Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals" contained in the IDOT Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions, adopted January 1, 2025. The right to waive any irregularity and to reject any or all bids is reserved to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Morton Grove. All contracts for the construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS, 130/1 et seq.).
