The proposed project consists of HVAC replacement/modifications, window replacement, and Media Center renovations at Golf Middle School; Administration and Media Center building additions, interior renovations, window replacement, and HVAC replacement/modifications at Hynes Elementary School. Prospective bidders should contact Lamp Incorporated to be placed on the bid list and will be granted access to Smart Bid for downloading drawings. All contractors intending to bid must have a Lamp Incorporated Qualification Statement on file, updated within the last year, and must complete the qualification filing using Smart Bid. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the bid must accompany the Bid Form. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the bid amount, with sureties approved by the owner, and a Certificate of Insurance within ten days of the contract award. The successful bidder is required to pay Prevailing Wage for work under this contract and submit certified payroll records in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act. The Board of Education of Golf School District 67 reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any bid irregularities. The project is tax exempt. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held for bidders to understand the project requirements.
