Site work for a civil project in Grand Forks, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

This contract is with BC Timber Sales in the Kootenay Business Area, Boundary Field Team, and the project consists of approximately 1.7km of FSR NEW construction and 1.4km of FSR RECONSTRUCTION. NEW construction involves all phases of road construction including timber cut and removal, end haul, drill and blast rock and surfacing. RECONSTRUCTION in-volves all elements of road maintenance plus re-establishment of road prism, re-establishment of ditch lines, and installation/replacement of culverts as necessary. All NEW and RECONSTRUCTION road sections must be constructed in accordance with Ap-pendix II Almond Road Design, Appendix III Gable Road Design, and Appendix IV General Road Construction Specs. Construction specifications detailed in the geometric road de-signs (Appendix II and III) will take precedence of those detailed in Appendix IV, where they differ. The Contract includes the potential to assign Other Works at the discretion of BCTS. Other works may include road maintenance, reconstruction, deactivation or other related work located in efficient proximity to the tender project.
