The Housing Authority of Whatcom County is soliciting bids from qualified general contractors for the lift and restoration of an existing one-story multi-family residential structure and site improvements. The project has a total of eleven residential units, laundry, and storage/utility rooms. The work of this project will be located at 408 Second St. , Sumas, WA. The work includes: Demolition of existing structural components in existing crawl space as required for overall scope. Removal of existing roof, siding, windows and doors as shown in drawings. Lifting the existing building to specified height above the base flood elevation (BFE). Constructing new crawl space structure and reconnecting all plumbing and electrical systems.
