The scope of this Contract consists of furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to construct two (2) new dual zone monitoring wells (DZMWs) (FA-2NR and FA-3NR), eight (8) shallow pad monitoring wells (PMWs), and plugging and abandoning (P&A) the existing DZMWs FA-2N and FA-3N. The construction shall include temporary drilling pads, grading, and the balance of construction at the ready for service NDWWTP. The Bid Proposal Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Security in an Amount Not Less Than Five Percent (5%) of the Total Bid. The Successful Contractor Must Execute a One Hundred (100%) Surety Performance and Payment Bonds. The Original Bid Bond Must Be Delivered to the Contracting Officer at the Address Above Prior to the Bid Opening or a Bid Will Be Deemed Non-responsive. No Bidder May Withdraw His Bid Within 120 Days From Bid Opening Date. Estimated Range of the Base Bid - $4,215,618.96 to $5,100,666.04, not including contingency and dedicated allowances. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Project Duration: 450 Calendar Days to Substantial Completion, 500 Calendar Days to Final Completion, plus a 50 Calendar Day Contingency Period. This contract has a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Goods and Services Goal of NO MEASURE, so submission of the Certificate of Assurance form (COA) is not required for this bid. Nothing in this solicitation shall in any way be utilized to request documentation relating to or authorizing consideration of a proposer's social, political, or ideological interests when determining if the proposer is a responsible vendor or give a preference to a proposer based on the proposer's social, political, or ideological interests. The Board of County Commissioners, Miami-Dade County, Florida, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid or to re-advertise for bids. Bids from any person, firm or Corporation in default on other contracts or agreements with the County may be rejected. Failure by the Bidder to satisfy claims on previous contracts with the County may be cause for rejection of his bid. The County reserves the right to postpone or cancel the bid opening at any time prior to the scheduled opening of bids.
