Location - 1011 Forrester Dr SE Dawson, GA 39842 The Air Handling Unit-2 is past its expected service life and components have begun to fail. The existing Coils have been repaired numerous times, and the framework and housing are corroded to the point of failure. The most cost-effective solution is to repair by replacement. Line Item 0001: o Submit proposed replacement AHU-2 unit to COR and LPOC for approval. o The specifications of the existing AHU-2 are as follows: 14,745 CFM with 20HP 480 v 3phase motor. The new motor to be VFD rated. o Removal and disposal of the old AHU-2 offsite in a legal, responsible man o Install approved direct replacement new AHU unit including Air Handling Unitassembly, cooling coil and motor assembly. o Connect new unit to existing ductwork and filter assembly, and test for air leaks o Make all electrical connections to units. o Reconnect the new unit to the chilled water supply pipes and reinsulate any damaged insulation, making sure any heat trace is protected and functioning. o Perform factory startup system and test for proper operation. o Verify that all grease fittings are easily accessible and serviceable. Vendors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.
