Renovation of a municipal facility in Petersburg, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Board of Commissioners for Menard County, Illinois, is presenting the following project for bid: Electrical Upgrades for Menard County Annex Building 101 East Jefferson Street Petersburg, Illinois 62675 Project Description: Project consists of a variety of electrical work throughout both levels of the existing office bldg.. Work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: o Removing the existing electrical service and providing a new electrical service. o Upgrading existing receptacles and adding additional receptacles throughout the facility. o Providing power to new equipment (overhead door, chair lift, etc.) throughout the facility. o Providing infrastructure (including cabling) for network and security systems, including general network terminals, security cameras, door access, etc. as well as labeling, terminating, testing, and certifications of cabling systems. o Providing a fire alarm system based on the noted devices as a minimum, with the final design, submittals, certification, etc. to be provided by the fire alarm contractor. o Providing miscellaneous lighting and switching upgrades in select areas. o Providing demolition where noted on the plans and as required to support the new work. o Provide power and control upgrades to the electrical feed for the existing flag pole luminaire.
