The City of Carlsbad is requesting bids for a new and unused 2025 model year Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) system with all internal components listed in the attached Basis of Design. Quoted price within Bid for UPS System must include: 1. Taxes and freight, 2. Delivery to site within 30 days of Purchase Order issuance, 3. Delivery coordination with staff, delivery off-loading and transport into the building to the second-floor electrical room (unpacking and installation not included), and, 4. System commissioning following installation by others. Contractor to note other items included in Basis of Design that are to be included in Bid, such as: 1. Relocation of electrical leads from one panel to another Purchases may be awarded in whole or part. Prices must remain firm for a period of 30 days after bid due date. In accordance with the Carlsbad Municipal Code, awards shall be based on a best value evaluation. Criteria used for the evaluation will include: cost, responsiveness to specifications, delivery schedule, and unspecified value-added offerings which may be offered by the bidder.
