**As of November 11, 2025, bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid.** The Leucadia Wastewater District is requesting bids from qualified contractors to install anodes related to cathodic protection for the District's B3 and L1/L2 Force Mains located at various locations. The B3 Force Main work will consist of the installation of 18 total anodes at 6 existing test station locations and the L1/L2 Force Mains consist of the installation of 12 total anodes at 4 existing test station locations. This bid will include: obtain the necessary City of Carlsbad encroachment permit, provide necessary traffic control, install (3) new magnesium anodes at each of the existing test station locations, trench and place the new buried anode wires from the new anode locations to the existing test station, backfill and restore all surfaces to existing conditions, and dispose of any construction waste. All questions regarding the bid are due by 5:00 p.m. (local) time Monday, September 29, 2025. Questions submitted after that date will not be considered. All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to the Owner's project manager. It shall be understood, however, that no Specification interpretations may be made by telephone nor may any of "or equal" items be considered for approval during the bid period.
