The project consists of five (5) schedules and three (3) additive alternatives. Schedule One consists of replacing approximately 1,360 linear feet of asbestos cement (AC) water main with new 8-inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) water main. Schedule Two consists of replacing approximately 700 linear feet of AC water main with new 8-inch PVC water main. Schedule Three consists of replacing approximately 660 linear feet of asbestos cement AC water main with new 8-inch PVC water main. Schedule Four consists of replacing approximately 690 linear feet of AC water main with new 8-inch PVC water main. Schedule 5 consists of replacing approximately 300 linear feet of only AC water main with new 8-inch PVC water main. Additive Alternative One consists of the installation of a new bulk water station, access road, and site grading for the new station. Additive Alternative Two consists of the replacement of approximately nine (9) mainline valves within the existing system. Additive Alternative Three consists of the replacement of approximately 1,100 linear feet of old AC water main with new 8-inch PVC water main. These improvements also include the installation of new water services, valves, and fire hydrants. All water services will be replaced from the main to the curb stop with 1-inch PE service line. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be submitted in writing to and must be received by Great West Engineering no later than 2:00 PM local time on August 1, 2025. Questions received after this date will not be answered. Oral questions will only be accepted at the PreBid conference.
