A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and the following 1. Replacement of low slope, single ply roof system of Section A. 2. Replacement of asphalt shingled roof system of Section B. 3. Replacement of roof edge gutter liner of Section C. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. C. Before commencing Work on the building, submit an updated copy of Contractors construction schedule showing the sequence, commencement, and completion dates for all components of the Work. Question Deadline 08/06/2025 Bidders and Sub-Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request which shall reach the Architect at least five (5) days prior to the date for receipt of Bids. Board of County Commissioners of Lewis and Clark County, Montana are soliciting competitive bids from interested parties for the Roof and Gutter Replacement Project on the Lewis and Clark County Courthouse in Helena, Montana. A cone of silence is established for this solicitation which prohibits any bidder, or entity with financial interest in the bid award, from communicating regarding the solicitation with any Lewis and Clark County elected official, employee, or agent other than the designated point of contact. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or other form of security as specified in Montana Code Annotated 18-1-203, payable to Lewis and Clark County, in an amount of no less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid. Bids received without the required bid security will be deemed nonresponsive. The successful bidder shall furnish an approved performance bond and labor and materials payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurances, permits, and licenses shall be obtained by the successful bidder and certificates of such shall be provided to Lewis and Clark County. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive informalities, to postpone the solicitation for a period not to exceed 60 days, and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the County. Bidders shall be bound to the terms and conditions listed in the solicitation. This solicitation is being offered in accordance with federal and state statutes and county regulations governing procurement. Bids become the property of Lewis and Clark County. The County is not responsible for costs associated with preparing a bid.
