The Ascension Parish Facilities Department is soliciting quotes to provide Re-Roofing of its Utilities Billing Office o The scope of services is detailed in the Technical Specifications that are attached to this document. o The selected contractor shall supply all parts, equipment and materials required for the Re-Roofing work as per state and federal guidelines. o A copy of the contractor's license must be available upon request. The Parish of Ascension reserves the right to disqualify any Bid, response to a Request for Qualifications/Quotes, or Request for Proposals, if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana. o Direct all questions regarding this project to: Dean Thomason Professional Project Manager Phone 225-454-9253 PM will review each RFI, determine action required, and respond. Allow seven (7) working days for PM's response for each RFI. RFls received by PM after 1:00 p.m. will be considered as received the following working day. Scope of Work: The Work of this Contract is comprised of re-roofing the existing East Bank Courthouse and the West Bank Clerk of Court for Ascension Parish. The existing roof membranes shall be prepared and coated with a liquid applied polyester reinforced elastomeric acrylic system specifically designed for roofing installation. This system is specifically designed to be used over existing roofing systems. General: A. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services, and incidentals to complete all work required by these Specifications and as shown on the Drawings. B. The Contractor shall perform the work complete, in place and ready for continuous service, and shall include repairs, replacements, and restoration required as a result of damages caused during this construction. C. Furnish and install all materials, equipment, and labor which is reasonably and properly inferable and necessary for the proper completion of the work, whether specifically indicated in the Contract Documents or not. D. Protect all existing work from damage. It is intended that any existing Work in place shall be repaired to original condition if damaged by Work of this Contract. E. Contractor shall verify all field and job conditions prior to preparing his bid. Any conditions not described in these drawings and specifications shall be brought to the attention of the Project Manager (PM) prior to bid date. Failure to do so shall render the contractor responsible for correction of this condition should he be awarded the contract. F. The word "Provide" as used in these specifications and on the drawings will be termed to mean "furnish and install" and includes all items necessary for the proper execution and completion of the work.
