Addendum 1 has been issued. The Work designated as City of Alamogordo Fire Station 2 Improvements consists of, FIRE STATION RENOVATION, PROVIDING ADDITIONS TO THE APPARATUS BAY AND LIVING QUARTERS. UPGRADED STRUCTURAL, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, AND PLUMBING SYSTEMS. EXTERIOR PATIO AREA, AND EXTERIOR FREE-STANDING WALL WITH SIGNAGE, in accordance with the drawings, specifications, and other Contract Documents. Construction Industries Division (CID) Project Classification Determination: DESCRIPTION OF WORK: LICENSE REQUIRED: Commercial Construction and Remodeling GB-98 Plumbing Sy MM-1 Electrical EE-98 The City Commission of the City of Alamogordo will consider the tabulation of Bids at its next regular meeting or at a later meeting if required. A Bid Security shall accompany each Bid in the amount of not less than five (5) percent of the total Bid amount. The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Bid amount to assure the performance of the Contract, as well as payment for all labor and materials of the Contract. Prospective BIDDERS are ad-vised of a 10% Bid Evaluation Criterion for area businesses that will apply to this Project. The CONTRACTOR is advised to obtain specific information as to the qualifications and conditions of the Bid Evaluation Criterion before submitting a Bid. No Bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, and the City of Alamogordo reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and waive technicalities and formalities. No BIDDER may withdraw their Bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the Bid Opening thereof. Attention of BIDDERS is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract.
