The Sudbury Public Schools ("Owner"), by its School Superintendent acting through the Combined Facilities Director, is seeking proposals from registered engineering firms licensed to do business in Massachusetts and experienced in fire alarm, emergency lighting and bi-directional amplification system design of public buildings. The scope of work is to include design, cost estimating and bidding services for the installation of a new fire alarm system at the Ephraim Curtis Middle School, Josiah Haynes and Israel Loring Elementary Schools as well as the design and cost estimating of installing bi-directional amplification systems for all schools, inclusive of the Peter Noyes and General John Nixon Elementary Schools; including anything relative thereto, in accordance with the request for qualifications. The site visit will commence at the Israel Loring School and continuing to the following schools in the following order, Ephraim Curtis Middle School, Peter Noyes School Elementary, General John Nixon Elementary and the Josiah Haynes Elementary School. All RFQ-related questions are due at the Office of the Combined Facilities Director at facilities@sudbury.ma.us no later than Wednesday, August 6, 2025 by 12:00 PM. The desired performance timeline for preliminary reports cost estimates is on or before October 30, 2025 with substantial completion of the design documents on or before November 15, 2025 and Final Completion by December 15, 2025. The Sudbury Public Schools reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive informalities and to award in the best interest of the Sudbury Public Schools.
