The Town of Yarmouth, as the Awarding Authority, is inviting bids from interested parties to provide On-Call Water Main and Service Installation, Replacement, and Repair services The initial contract term will begin upon execution and continue through June 30, 2026, with up to two (2) additional one-year renewal options, exercisable at the sole discretion of the Town. The estimated value is approximately $200,000 per year, with a total potential contract value of $600,000 over three years. The Town reserves the right to award contracts to one or more bidders. One contractor will be designated as the primary provider of services; a secondary contractor may be awarded a contract and used at the Town's discretion if the primary contractor is unavailable or unable to meet required timeframes. To be considered, bids must be submitted on the specified forms by the deadline for the opening. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the bid price. If the bid is accepted and the bidder does not enter into a contract with the Town of Yarmouth, the bid security will be forfeited and become the property of the Town. A payment bond will not be required at the time of contract award; however, the Town reserves the right to require a payment bond equal to 50% of the value of any individual work order exceeding $25,000, in accordance with M.G.L. c. 149, 29. . The Town of Yarmouth reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to award multiple contracts, and to waive informalities in the best interest of the Town.
