Outdoor lighting and renovation of a mixed-use development in Washington, District of Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility; and theater / auditorium.

The goal of this project is to restore electrical power to CABA Box Office and its parking/perimeter lights. This is to deter criminal activity, provide safe passage to visitors who actively use the walkways and lot near the box office, and to facilitate NPS activities that still operate out of the box office. Without a permanent lighting solution, this area is extremely dark and poses a severe safety hazard, as it is in high crime area. The work shall include but is not limited to the following: 1. Disconnect and remove existing electrical distribution gear from PEPCO’s termination point. 2. Coordinate with PEPCO to restore power to their feed once our equipment has been installed. The park will be responsible for any of PEPCO’s reconnection fees if applicable. 3. Remove and dispose of damaged gearbox. 4. Furnish and install 400-amp three phase 2208 transmitter socket and connect to PEPCO’s termination point. 5. Furnish and install on the load side of the meter socket a 400 amp, 3 phase one 2208 main breaker 20 circuit electric distribution panel. 6. At distribution panel, furnish and install 200-amp circuit three phase circuit for power connect feeders to Carter Barron Box Office. 7. After installing feeders, trace out the individual three phase circuits to box office. 8. All equipment below the stage will need to be attached to the nearby wall, which is approximately 4ft away. 9. After installations and connections of power feeders to the box office feeders, test circuits and ensure that the box office and perimeter lights are powered, as well as all other circuits that are serviced by the feeders. *This project is being bid by invitation only.
