Renovation of a mixed-use development in Bethesda, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility; and military facility.

The intent of this project is to provide full turnkey design/build replacement of the listed Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS). Defense Health Agency recognizes that these 34 listed ATSs at Walter Reed Medical Center, Buildings 1, 9, 9A, and 10 are beyond their warranty period, and many are failing or have failed and all need full replacement. The project consists of nine (9) tasks. Task 1 is to provide a complete design work plan package. Task 2 thru Task 8 work involves the replacement of thirty-four (34) ATSs with new for Buildings 1, 9, 9A, and 10 at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), Bethesda Maryland. Task 9 is to perform a power systems analysis for the entire building of buildings #1, #9, #9A, and #10 at WRNMMC, Bethesda, Maryland after Tasks 2 thru 8 are completed. The Government is considering a single “turnkey,” performance-based project in the facility, that may include minor maintenance and system adjustments, along with small repairs encountered during equipment and component installation. The government is open and willing to consider any “outside-the-box” solutions to problems with proper justification. *This project is being bid by invitation only.
