**As of September 29, 2025, the project was awarded to Integrity Roofing but the awarded amount is not available.** The City of Rockdale, Texas is requesting proposals from qualified firms or individuals for the limited purpose of providing clean-up and abatement services regarding Code Enforcement for the City of Rockdale, TX. The CONTRACTOR shall be subject to the following limitations: The term of the agreement shall be one year with an automatic annual renewal. The lease can be terminated by either party at any time with 30 days' written notice; The contractor shall furnish all the necessary material, labor and equipment. Projects vary between maintaining high grass/weeds, clean-up of trash/debris, and/or abatement of parts of a building (i.e. an awning in disrepair). The Vendor shall obtain Commercial General Liability insurance, per the City Standards and name the City of Rockdale as an additional insured with a waiver of Subrogation. Subject to the City notifying the contractor of a property, the contractor shall have know more than 10 business days to abate the violation. The Contractor shall invoice the City no later than 10 business days after the violation has been abated. The contractor shall notify the Code Enforcement Officer when the project is completed. The City reserves the right to request additional data or information or a presentation in support of written proposals. The City is tax exempt under Tax Code, Subtitle E, SALES, EXCISE AND USE, CHAPTER 151, Section 151.309. Bidder, if awarded the bid, shall be responsible for and shall pay all sales, excise, use and other taxes. When equipment, materials or supplies generally taxable to the bidder are eligible for a tax exemption due to the nature of the item, bidder shall assist the city in applying for and obtaining such tax credits and exemptions which shall be paid for credited to the City.
