The City of Vacaville is requesting proposals from qualified engineering firms for the Hexavalent Chromium Well Treatment and Blending Project. The selected firm will be responsible for technical studies, permitting, drilling design and inspection, chrome 6 treatment and blending system designs, preparation of bid documents, bidding assistance, and construction support services. This RFP does not commit the City of Vacaville to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a proposal for this request, or to procure or contract for services. The City of Vacaville reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals received as a result of this request, to negotiate with any qualified Consultant, or to modify or cancel in part or in its entirety the RFP if it is in the best interests of the City of Vacaville to do so. Furthermore, a contract award may not be made based solely on price. The prospective Consultant is advised that should this RFP result in recommendation for award of a contract, the contract will not be in force until it is approved and fully executed by the City of Vacaville. All products used or developed in the execution of any contract resulting from this RFP will remain in the public domain at the completion of the contract.
