Renovation of an educational facility in New Orleans, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
A. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. Interior Renovation of existing toilet rooms located within Buildings identified in section 1.3 A. a. Interior Modifications include, but are not necessarily limited to: 1) Selective Demolition (Walls, Ceilings, Flooring, Fixtures) 2) New wall partitions for toilet rooms. 3) New Finishes for walls, ceilings and flooring for toilet room. 4) New fixtures ( sinks, toilets and urinals) 5) New Toilet Partitions and Toilet Accessories. 6) HVAC & electrical modifications as required for the build-out 7) Refer to drawings for additional information 2. All Contractor and Sub-Contractor work performed for the interior demolition, staging, phasing, modifications and improvements shall meet as a minimum, Delgado Community College Standards. Each Contractor and their Sub-Contractor will be expected to provide a level of professionalism, consideration, quality and care, in accordance with Delgado Community College Standards. For any items that the Contractor, or their Sub-Contractors are unfamiliar with Delgado Standards or Protocol, then the Contractor shall immediately call to the attention of the Architect or Delgado's Representative. The form of this security shall be as stated in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Documents for this project. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written as described in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Documents for this project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. In accordance with La. R.S. 38:2212(B)(1), the provisions and requirements of this Section; and those stated in the bidding documents shall not be waived by any entity. When this project is financed either partially or entirely with State Bonds or financed in whole or in part by federal or other funds which are not readily available at the time bids are received, the award of this Contract is contingent upon the granting of lines of credit, or the sale of bonds by the Bond Commission or the availability of federal or other funds. The State shall incur no obligation to the Contractor until the Contract Between Owner and Contractor is fully executed. Act 751- Louisiana Community and Technical College System is a participant in the Small Entrepreneurship (SE) Program (the Hudson Initiative) and the Veteran-Owned and ServiceConnected Disabled Veteran-Owned (LaVet) Small Entrepreneurships Program.
