Site work and new construction of a residential development in Altoona, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
Project consists of construction of a new tornado shelter at Hillcrest Estates in Altoona, Wisconsin. The shelter will be 129'-4" x 40'-8" with three covered entrances. There will be a 8-inch frost wall and the floor will be a reinforced concrete. The exterior walls will be constructed of reinforced concrete masonry units and the roof will consist of precast concrete planks covered with sloped rigid insulation and a white EPDM roof. The interior space will include three "shelter" spaces and centralized toilet rooms.
