The Town of Fort Erie is requesting the tender for the permanent closure of a portion of Sherkston Road (Point Abino Road to Michener Road), installation of a new stone driveway, and reconfiguration of the existing road right-of-way. Deliverables include a physical road closure, construction of a compacted granular stone driveway for access to the existing house, and redefinition of the municipal road allowance through asphalt removal and grading work. All necessary permits, approvals, and notifications to residence prior to construction start, are to be completed. Final deliverables include restoration of disturbed areas, and coordination of inspection for municipal acceptance.
