PROJECT OVERVIEW Concho Valley Council of Governments (CVCOG) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide a thorough and comprehensive feasibility study for the purpose of constructing an inland commercial and/or governmental spacecraft launch facility ("spaceport") in the Concho Valley region of Texas. This initiative supports Texas's strategic interest in expanding its role in the aerospace and space exploration industries. This solicitation is issued in accordance with applicable local, state, and/or federal procurement laws and regulations. SCOPE OF WORK The scope includes but is not limited to: Conducting a comprehensive and thorough feasibility study. The study should not only assess the viability of constructing a spaceport within the region but also highlight the unique advantages that make this area an optimal site among other regions.
