Renovation of a mixed-use development in Montreal, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Reference number: 20085018 Electronic tender submission accepted: No 19-008 New Vic Project Lot 0310 - Concrete Formwork Pav. N The scope of work for this call for interest covers all formwork and concrete work for the new pavilion N, including but not limited to: - rock footings and foundation walls; - shotcrete on rock face; - elevator pits and mechanical shafts; - walls, beams and columns; - structural slabs on 10 levels including slab-on-grade; - clean bases for mechanical and electrical equipment; - concrete placement of metal staircase landings and treads. The supply and installation of reinforcement, dowels, anchoring of concrete structures and other similar work will be the subject of a separate call for tenders from the formwork and concreting work covered by this call for interest. The execution of the work involves numerous challenges in terms of work methodology, including: - site access and restricted work space; - the presence of other trades during the formwork and concreting work, including the masonry and structural steel teams; - a sector-by-sector sequencing of the work orchestrated by construction manager Pomerleau, enabling coordinated execution of the work by the various trades; This work will be carried out in accordance with the master schedule established by construction manager Pomerleau. A call for tenders is scheduled for September 2025, with work scheduled from April 2026 to May 2027.
