Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Nickerson Township, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This project is Targeted Group (TG) Economically Disadvantaged (ED) Veteran-Owned preference and has a 3% (TG/ED/VO) subcontracting goal established. SUMMARY OF WORK: The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. Remove and dispose of existing bridge. 2. Remove existing concrete abutments. 3. Furnish and install approximately 670 LF Steel H Piling. 4. Construct 2 reinforced concrete abutments (approx. 82 CY's concrete). 5. Furnish and Install 45' Span x 20' Wide Modular Bridge w/ TL2 railing. 6. All associated excavation and embankment. 7. Install surfacing aggregate. 8. All associated erosion control, traffic control and stabilization.
