Renovation of a municipal facility in Oneida, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

A timeline for the award has not yet been established** The City of Oneida is currently accepting bids for exterior commercial renovations to be performed on a privately-owned building located at 146 Madison Street in the City of Oneida. In awarding bids, the City on Oneida and the property owner reserve the right to reject any and all bids, waive formalities, informalities and technicalities therein, and to take whatever bids it determines to be in the best interest of the City and property owner considering lowest or best bid, quality of goods and work, time of delivery or completion, responsibility of bidders being considered, previous experience of bidders, or any other factors they deem appropriate. Front Facade Upper Story (brick and cornices) A. Clean and repair brick and cornices to ensure they are smoothandreadyforpainting. B. Repair any rotted wood with in-kind component replacement. C. Prepare the substrate and paint with 1 coat primer and 2 coats highqualitypaintdesigned for masonry or exterior wood applications. Color andlocationstobeselected by owner Side Wall A. Remove raised a/c condenser unit, support structure, and electricsupply. B. Remove damaged stucco board paneling and dispose in accordancewithlocal regulations. C. Inspect the existing wall surface for any damage or irregularitiesandrepair, asneeded. D. Apply a bonding agent or primer if needed to ensure adhesionof newstucco. E. Install a weather-resistant barrier (WRB). F. Attach metal lath or wire mesh securely to the brick using appropriatefasteners.G. Apply the scratch coat, brown coat, and Finish coat, ensuringproper adhesionandkeying. a. Base coat should be applied evenly and allowed to dry accordingto Roof Replacement A. R regulations. a. Asbestos containing material is to be abated and disposedof professional in compliance with NYS Code Rule 56. Asbestossurveyisattached. B. Inspect the underlying roof deck for any signs of damage or rot. If found, theseareas should be repaired or replaced before proceeding C. and local building codes. This includes the installation of insulation, a waterproof membrane, and a protective surface layer. D. Ensure that the roof is properly sloped to allow for adequate drainage. E. water intrusion. Exterior Signage Supply and install a custom vintage marquis lighted sign for "Historic Madison Theater Building"sized approximately 4'x 8' on an arm extension. A. Sign design to be approved by both the owner and City of Oneida zoning prior to order and installation This project is funded in part through the Downtown Revitalization Initiative. As such, Bidders will be required to comply with all applicable Village, State and Federal requirements and regulations pertaining to the Program. However, Bidders should be aware that this project is not subject to State Prevailing Wage or Federal Davis-Bacon Wage requirements.
