The City of Oneida, New York requests bids for the purchase of 125,000 gallons of Liquid Iron Salts (such as ferric sulfate, ferric chloride, ferrous chloride) to be delivered as needed to the City of Oneida Wastewater Treatment Plant, Harden Street, Oneida, New York during the period from January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026. The contract may be extended for one year under the same terms and conditions if mutually agreeable. The materials must conform to the specifications prepared by the City Engineer, which are available from the Office of City Engineer. Bids must be sealed, marked “Bid on Liquid Iron Salts,” and delivered to the City of Oneida, ATTN: Purchasing Agent, at the provided address. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, certified check, or bid bond of not less than five percent of the bid amount and must meet the conditions in the Information for Bidders. State and federal taxes are not to be included in the bid. The City may revise or amend the specifications prior to the bid opening, with changes announced by addenda. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids not in its best interest.
