Renovation of a transportation facility in Sarasota, Florida. Design plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
As of October 30, 2025, an engineer has been selected, however the porject is on hold pending. Engineer firm information and a firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Authority will provide the selected consultant as-built and/or design files for the existing bag claim area. The selected consultant is expected to supplement these files with additional surveys and data collected onsite. The selected consultant shall complete drawings and specifications for the expanded building and baggage carousel. The selected consultant shall also evaluate phasing plans which will maintain operations of existing bag carousels during construction of the new system. Question Deadline 08/22/2025 To assist responding consultants and individuals in preparing their Statement of Qualifications, information requests concerning the project, consultant selection criteria, general requirements, and administrative procedures are to be directed in writing to Elisa Traub, Project Coordinator, Engineering, Planning & Facilities at: elisa.traub@flysrq.com. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
