Tender for Tree Trimming and Maintenance Services The City of Hamilton is seeking two (2) Successful Bidders to undertake various tree maintenance Services including, but not limited to: o the pruning of trees for public safety, o road safety and vehicle clearance, o streetlight clearing, o preventative maintenance, o storm response, o tree removal, and o tree inventory The following are also Services which are to be provided on an as needed basis: On demand service crew on a twenty-four-hour, seven day a week basis (as required). Successful Bidders may also be asked to provide an 8-tonne crane with certified climber/operator. Work will be assigned to each Successful Bidder by grid, with new Work assigned once the previously assigned Work is complete. Bid Security There is no bid security, performance security or labour and material payment security required for this Request for Tenders. Question Deadline: Tue Aug 19, 2025 12:00:00 PM (EDT) Duration in months: 55 The City reserves the right to request, prior to the award of the Contract, proof that a Bidder is in compliance with the municipal zoning by-laws within the City of Hamilton regarding the property(ies) at which the Bidder is proposing to: a) Operate its snow removal or landscaping business to provide the Services described in this Tender; and b) Store its Unit to be used in providing the Services described in this Tender. The Bidder shall provide such proof in the form of a Certificate of Zoning Verification Report ("Certificate") issued by the City of Hamilton Planning Division for each property. Failure of the Bidder to provide the City's Procurement Division with the required Certificate(s) within ten Business Days of request by the City may result in the rejection of the Bidder's Bid Each Certificate shall have an issuance date of no more than 30 calendar days prior to the closing date of this Tender.
