The work also includes upgrades to electrical power and lighting, HVAC modifications, audiovisual equipment and cabling, electronic security systems, and minor fire protection updates, all in accordance with applicable Department of Defense Unified Facilities Criteria. The restroom repair includes demolition and disposal of existing partitions, plumbing fixtures, accessories, flooring, and ceiling tiles. New installations include HVAC exhaust fans and ductwork, plumbing fixtures such as water closets, urinals, and lavatories with required carriers and fittings, LED lighting, and updated finishes including gypsum board, ceramic wall and floor tiles, paint, and acoustic ceilings. Additional work includes installation of restroom accessories such as partitions, mirrors, grab bars, and dispensers, also meeting applicable UFC standards.
