Renovation of a multi-residential development in Port Huron, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Sealed bids are requested from qualified general contractors for labor and material to renovate vacant apartments at Gratiot/Huron Villages, according to the bidding documents and project drawings. Bids must include all material and labor to complete the project scope of work. Contractor will remove and dispose of all walls, doors, flooring, ceiling, cabinets, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and/or other building materials as needed and at all the areas indicated on the project drawings. Contractor will supply material and labor to construct/install new walls, ceilings, doors, windows, trims, brick, drywall, cabinets, finishes, flooring, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and all other associated work all as indicated on the project drawings. Contractor will renovate 2 vacant adjacent apartments at a time. Questions/Clarifications- Any questions or clarifications for shall be addressed at the on site walk through meetings, or by email to peppley@phhousing.org by 7/28/25 to allow Port Huron Housing to review and send response to all bidders through Addendum when/if required. Schedule - Each building must be completed before moving onto the next building, unless contractor has two separate crews designated to the multiple buildings. It is desired to begin this project anytime Fall 2025 and all renovation work is expected to be completed within 90 days of starting work in 2 apartments.
