The existing system cannot accommodate a full wheelchair and the courthouse wishes to provide full, equitable access to the entire building. The existing chairlift will be removed and a new wheelchair accessible system will be implemented. The scope involves new railings, removal of an existing water fountain, and installation of the new chairlift system including all necessary utilities and framing required by the system. All existing finishes, should be protected, salvaged, and re-used where possible.
