The Town of Ellington (Town) is seeking qualifications and proposals from qualified firms to provide Commissioning services in connection with the HVAC Upgrades to Ellington Center School, Middle School, and the High School (the "Project"). This solicitation is both a request for qualifications and a request for proposals ("RFQ/RFP"). The services to be performed are described below. The HVAC replacement work at Ellington Center School will consist of the installation of new DOAS units and associated pumps. The project will also entail control upgrades that will provide the school with a more efficient HVAC System. The Ellington Middle School HVAC upgrades will include the replacement of hot water heaters, boilers, pumps, controls, and other MEP components. The result will be an updated and more efficient HVAC system. The HVAC replacement work at Ellington High School will consist of the replacement of Boilers, Controls, Pumps and other HVAC related equipment. This will provide the school with an upgrade to help improve the school's HVAC System's efficiency. Construction began in the Summer of 2025. Substantial Completion of the Project is October 1, 2025, for Heating System Work, August 20, 2025, for Domestic Water Heating System work and December 31, 2025, for all remaining work.
