As of August 29,2025 project was awarded to B&Y Concrete LLC with the bidding amount of $35,447.45 The proposed work provides for 2025 Concrete Work The work provided for in these specifications shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment and miscellaneous materials; and performing all work necessary to complete concrete sidewalk, ramp and curb work to the City's satisfaction; together with other incidental and related work as set forth in these specifications, or as directed by the Public Works Director, or designated agent, hereafter referred to as the "City". Services shall be performed in accordance with the specifications provided herein. The bid shall be a unit based amount and shall reflect and include all cost necessary to comply with such provisions. Bids may be held by the City of Louisburg, Kansas, for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purposes of reviewing and investigating the bidders' qualifications, prior to awarding the contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid during this period. LOCATION All work is located in the City of Louisburg, Kansas The City has targeted several areas around the community to include sidewalk, ramp and curb repair. See accompanying map. Contractor will use AB3 if needed for base. Curbs shall be stand-up type "B" and have three #4 rebar. A BID AND PERFORMANCE BOND IS REQUIRED Sidewalks shall have three #4 rebar lengthwise with crossbars. Rebar shall be on chairs. Sidewalks shall be 4" thick minimum. All sidewalk widths shall match adjoining sidewalks with the exception of the sidewalk at S. Third between Broadway and Mulberry, which will be 5 ft. Sidewalk elevation shall match existing storm sewer inlet. All concrete shall be KCMMB Granite 4000 psi mix. Concrete mix shall be submitted and approved before pouring. Concrete curb replacement at the 200 W. Amity location should conform to KDOT standards. The City of Louisburg, Kansas, reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, in whole or in part, and to waive technicalities.
